We love brass for its ability oxidize and form a patina over time. Depending on your skin, brass rings may turn your skin green. This isn't harmful but if you wish to avoid this, we suggest purchasing sterling silver or gold. We love to leave the patina on our brass but if you prefer shine, it can be polished with a jewelry polishing cloth or cleaned with a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda (avoid the latter option on pieces with stones or other non-metal materials.
